O-WEEK 2012: THE CIRCUS

Come one, come all! The University of Sydney Union (USU) invites you to the biggest orientation festival in Australia. On February 29th, O-Week 2012 kicks off with the most high-flying, boredom-defying ways that you can get involved in campus life during your degree at the University of Sydney.
The USU's active and exciting social scene will leave you juggling your classes with your free-time before you know it. Whether you are ready to throw yourself into the diverse Clubs and Societies program or simply chill out at Manning or Hermann’s Bar on a lazy afternoon, O-Week 2012 gives you your first taste of everything the USU has to offer.
Find some of the best student-based talent on display at our Big Top each day, and make sure you grab tickets to the night events. Our ‘Uncaged’ opening night will kick off the party before we send in the clowns for comedy night on Thursday and fill your ears with music from some of Australia’s best bands on Friday! You won't want to miss a single moment of O-Week 2012!
Make sure you don’t miss out on the Faculty welcomes held during O-Week each year - you can get a chance to meet the brains behind your department and discuss what your course has to offer during, and after University. Visit fellow students at a Faculty stall and get to know those who will be learning with you, find out about Faculty-specific social events and get in touch with a network of students that will be there to help with anything from study groups to subject selection dilemmas!
When you walk into O-Week 2012, you’ll see a parade of interests and ideas that are represented by over 200 Clubs and Societies lined up on display. From food to faith, performance to politics, culture to chocolate - it's the perfect time to throw yourself into the best social experience on offer at the University of Sydney, and make some great new friends along the way!
