Feeling alienated and a little bewildered by the maze that is The University of Sydney?
Well our SPOCs (Student Point of Contact) are here to help! USU understands that adjusting to University life and knowing what’s available to make the most out of it can be difficult. Designed to help combat these important adjustments, our SPOC program is made up of a bunch of super-savvy students who volunteer with the USU to provide helpful information, run activities and be altogether extraordinary during O-Week.
SPOCs can be easily spotted in their uber-fashionable lime green t-shirts amidst the O-Week wonderland. You can be sure to find a friendly face at any of the information stalls scattered throughout campus, or simply have a chat to anyone of our SPOCs roaming throughout the O-Week festivities. Don’t be afraid to approach them with any query you may have – they’re here to help.
They’ll answer any questions you may have and assist you
through your exploration of the O-Week galaxy. And, if you’re ever desperate, simply flail a map while looking lost and they’ll come a-runnin’!
