At O-Week 2012, more than 200 C&S tents will spring up all over Eastern Avenue and the front lawns at the University of Sydney, celebrating a new year and more importantly, new people.
There’s a Chocolate Society to satisfy your sweet tooth, a Symphony Orchestra Society to nurture your musical talents, a Politics Society that will see you explore enthralling current affairs, and a host of other Clubs and Societies to cater for a range of interests.
There really is something for
everyone and it’s all on show at O-Week. Each club will have their own stall along Eastern Avenue recruit new members. Once you become a member of the USU at O-Week, you’ll be able to join any of the Clubs and Societies on campus and immerse yourself in the University community. Whether you’re a die-hard vegetarian waiting to sink your teeth into a VegeSoc meal, a budding talent waiting to show off your hip-hop moves with Soulxpress, or are itching to hear your voice on a SURG broadcast, we want you to get involved at O-Week 2012.
