Stall Holder T&C's

Please remember that by completing the online registration form your Club has agreed to the following O-Week C&S Terms and Conditions:

1. Stalls must be attended between 9am - 4pm on every day of O-Week.
     a. Only students and club executives may staff stalls.

2. Accessing Front Lawns & Eastern Ave: Unpack from 7am-8:30am, pack up from 4pm-5pm.

3. No un-authorised sponsorship.
     a. Sponsorship of any Club or Society must be brought to the attention of the O-Week Directors and approved by the USU before 1st February 2010. 
     b. Sponsor material may only be displayed or distributed inside stalls, with the approval of the USU.
     c. Nothing can be sold from your stall other than membership and C&S merchandise.

4. Promotion of C&S may only take place within your stall – spruiking, sampling or roaming outside your stall is not permitted.

5. The selling and offering of food and drink is strictly prohibited unless pre-approved by the O-Week Directors. Only individually wrapped confectionary may be distributed upon notifying the O-Week Directors before 1st February.

6. Stalls are provided with 5 amps of power
     a. PERMITTED: TVs, DVD players, Laptops, Phone Charges
     b. NOT PERMITTED: Fridges, Air Conditioners or Kettles
        i. Please consider your neighbouring stalls. DO NOT unplug any cords, play loud music or litter outside your stall. 
        ii. Power connects several stalls, and unplugging the wrong cord at one end could end in disaster at the other end. You will be fined for any damage caused by unplugging the wrong cord. iii. If you think you need more power, please speak to the O-Week Directors before 1st February 2010.

7. Stall holders must be mindful of noise restrictions within their stalls and on the main stage as set by the O-Week Directors prior to O-Week.

8. No alcohol permitted outside licensed areas.

9. The distribution, selling and use of stickers are strictly prohibited at O-Week.

10. No animals are permitted at O-Week unless permission has been obtained directly from the O-Week Directors and the USU.

11. Following the ethical, environmental and other regulations of the USU.
     a. Main Stage & USU: Discriminatory, offensive and/or defamatory behaviour/performances are prohibited.
     b. Print on double-sided, recycled paper and reduce power usage where possible.

12. If your stall is on the Front Lawns, please be mindful of preventing damage to the grass.

13. No paint or wet chalk is to be used on Eastern Avenue or any other surfaces throughout the University campus.

14. No littering. Fines will apply for those who do not leave their stalls clean after each day, and clean and empty on Friday afternoon.

15. In the event of rain overnight, stall holders must push the water off the top of their stalls (and neighbouring stalls if necessary).

16. Remember that SPOCs are volunteers; they are not your slaves. Their job is to assist event set-up and pack-up along with helping new students around the university.

17. Respect other stall holders. Everyone has a right to be at O-Week and to gather as many members as possible without interference. Failure to comply with one or more of these conditions may result in immediate expulsion of your stall, facing payment of a corporate stall holder fee of up to $2000 and/or a fine deducted from your C&S funding. You may also face de-registration from the C&S Program.
